SRVIVR® Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders

Product overview

The SRVIVR family of Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders (CVFDR) combines L3Harris' world-class technology with one of the smallest and lightest, fully EUROCAE ED-112 compliant recorder. Weighing as little as 6 pounds, SRVIVR is available as a Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), Flight Data Recorder (FDR) or combination unit and provides up to four channels of audio recording for up to 2 hours. It also records 25 hours of flight data and two hours of CNS/ATM datalink, and includes a rotor-speed interface. All members of the SRVIVR family can be configured for specific aircraft requirements where there are a combination of digital and analog/discrete inputs as well as audio recording and rotor speed.

  • Compact size increases available space
  • Flexible design enables aircraft-specific configuration
  • Data is secure, even in the event of a fire
  • Supports FDM, FOQA and incident investigation
  • Dual-isolated MIL-STD-704F power bus inputs
  • Compatible with ARINC 757, 757A, 717 and 429 signals
  • No mounting brackets required
  • Retrieve data quickly via Ethernet download

Key Features

SRVIVR® CVFDR Cockpit Voice and Data Recorder

The SRVIVR Cockpit Voice and Flight DataRecorder (CVFDR) uses its combination of flexible technology, weight and space reduction, and survivability to offer significant benefits for fleet operators. SRVIVR also offers a range of avionics interfaces, enabling direct communications with a variety of aircraft systems, including glass cockpits, potentially eliminating the need for a separate Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU). SRVIVR minimizes the risk of inaccurate or corrupted data, regardless of the environment.

SRVIVR® Plus CVFDR Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorder

L3Harris' SRVIVR® Plus Voice Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) offers all of the benefits associated with SRVIVR CVFRD but adds the functionality of a Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) while also meeting the qualification requirements of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704. Weighing a nominal 7 pounds, the SRVIVR Plus is available as a CVR, FDR or combination recorder. The SRVIVR Plus allows for the possible elimination of multiple LRUs and associated wiring and hardware. By combining a configurable architecture, along with performance and crash survivability that meets most military applications, SRVIVR Plus is ideal for aircraft retrofit and upgrade programs.

eSRVIVR® Encrypted CVFDR Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorder

L3Harris' eSRVIVR® Cockpit Voice Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) features the latest in recorder technology, offering reduced size, lighter weight and lower power, and the functionality of a Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) qualified to the requirements of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704. For added data security, eSRVIVR offers optional FIPS-140-2 Validated encryption to Level 2. This product allows for the elimination of multiple Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and associated wiring and hardware by providing enhanced capability in a single LRU. eSRVIVR is ideal for aircraft retrofit and upgrade programs.
